these little ants took on a considerably larger ant – though it was probably almost dead when the small ants found it.

When I found them the large ant was still moving – though it was only noticeable when I looked back through the photos.

    The small ants are Monomorium, and the larger one looks like a Formica species in the pallidefulva complex.

  2. Thanks – the diffuser is just a tracing paper and tape setup like the one you use.
